It is a color mix of black, with a slight bit of purple. The look is black overall, with a purple tinge. This wig is in good condition, but there are many hairs that are loose from the braids. I'm not sure if the braids were put in by the manufacturer or the previous owner (probably the previous owner), but they can be redone or removed if necessary.
